On the 24th of July, Good Planet SA had the absolute pleasure of attending the Boss Moms event in Kirstenhof – a gathering designed to bring together local women, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.

The morning kicked off on a high note with a warm welcome and a glass of bubbly, setting the stage for an inspiring day of networking, shared stories, and delicious snacks. Beyond the fantastic catering, the heart of the event was the incredible group of women in attendance. We had the opportunity to hear from inspirational speakers who shared invaluable insights on navigating business growth, resilience, and balancing the everyday hustle.

Sitting down at our tables, the conversations flowed naturally. We talked openly about our respective business journeys – celebrating the wins, but also diving into the real, honest challenges we face as business owners. That sense of mutual support and shared experience was truly energizing.

It was also a fantastic platform for us to showcase The Good Cup. Setting up a small stand allowed us to introduce our eco-friendly, plastic-free paper cup directly to the community. We loved getting into the details with everyone who stopped by – explaining how the innovative integrated lid design works, why it eliminates the need for traditional plastic lids, and how simple choices in packaging can drive real environmental change.

Connecting with like-minded women who are passionate about their work and curious about sustainable solutions was a highlight of the month for us.
